Dog Storage

The dog storage solution keeps all the dog items in one place, so they are easy to find. It looks simple and clean so would suit most homes. Both dog and human were considered in the design. If built it would be made of wood.

When not in use, the lid of the dog storage is closed, storage is shut, and the toys are accessible for the dog at the bottom. When grooming brushes or accessories are needed, the storage is opened through a press latch. It is then all accessible and gently shuts again. The lid is used to put toys in the top so the dog has different toys every time they want to play.

I wanted it to shuffle the dogs toys around so they do not get bored of the same ones, and this provides that through the lid and slot. The sliding storage shelves provide storage for the dogs items so they are not scattered around the house.

Flip lid: The furniture has a flip lid which can be lifted to place toys in. The dog then does not get these again for a while, until it has played with other toys. Then it will be a toy which he has not used for a while when it comes out the bottom again.

Toy gap: The toy gap is big enough for dogs to be able to take toys out, but also has a rim so they do not fall out.

Decoration: To look nice in homes, it is white so it blends in. It has wooden features ( a bone and dog name plaque ) and also wooden shelves.

Lead hook: To the right is a hook for the lead.

Sliding storage: There is a push latch mechanism which is behind the toy storage and it opens up shelves. Therefore there is also space for accessories.
