Design Brief
Create a board game prototype based on a chosen service map, using iterative playtesting to refine mechanics and improve user experience through feedback.
Designed for industry professionals, D’ADOORIO reshapes learning in the UK fenestration sector, fostering teamwork, strategic thinking, and knowledge retention in an innovative way. Every element, from its visual style and colour scheme to its mechanics, was intentionally crafted to reflect its door-inspired theme, making education feel dynamic and interactive.
Players roll the dice, navigate a strategically designed board, and tackle multiple-choice challenges to collect ten counters – the ultimate key to victory. But success requires more than just the right answers. Gameplay twists like “snail mail” (miss a turn) and “door locked” (lose a counter) keep the competition fierce, while the doorbell mechanic sharpens reflexes – only the fastest player to press it can steal a counter.
